International Women's Day inspires a varied program of activities.

There are numerous activities taking place in various locations on campus, with lectures and events throughout the month of March.

International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, is the theme of an extensive program at Unicamp, which extends throughout the month, with lectures, workshops, tributes, discussion groups and an entrepreneurship fair, among other activities, in order to contribute to reflection, training and mobilization of the community.

The Office of the Vice-Rector for Undergraduate Studies (PRG), the Gender and Sexuality Advisory Committee of the Executive Directorate of Human Rights (DEDH), and the Pagu Gender Studies Center released an integrated agenda of activities, bringing together programs from various institutes, with the message that "the commitment to gender equality should be sustained beyond this date."

Topics such as mental health, work, motherhood, sexuality and self-care will be discussed this Wednesday (4), at the Faculty of Education (FE), in the Women in Circle program, starting at 14:30 pm, with psychologist Karen Batista, from the Community Health Center (Cecom). At the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) the Women in Focus Week continues until Friday, with various lectures and workshops.

The Women in Struggle collective, which brings together female workers from Unicamp, is also promoting a series of activities. This Wednesday, at noon, at the Arena Theater, the debate will focus on gender violence in politics. The program continues at the Community Health Center (Cecom) at 14:30 pm with a lecture by physician Bia Bracco on the gynecological health of cis and trans women, trans men, lesbians, bisexuals, and non-binary people.

Also on Friday, at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), the WIE Talks event, in the auditorium of the Power Laboratory (Lepo), will feature the lecture “Trajectories of Impact: Women in Science, Technology and Industry”, starting at 16 pm.

Throughout next week, the program celebrating women continues in various institutes of the University.
