100 years of a theory focused on emancipation
The image shows a busy street with several vehicles and three motorcyclists in the foreground. The motorcyclists are wearing helmets and casual clothes; two of them are carrying large delivery backpacks—one red and the other yellow. There are cars ahead and beside them, and the urban scenery in the background includes trees, lampposts, and buildings. The scene takes place during the day, under natural light.
Campinas had more traffic deaths during the pandemic.
In a horizontal panoramic photo, a light brown frog with large, bright eyes sits on a green leaf on the right side of the image. The leaf appears textured, as if covered in tiny dewdrops. The background, which occupies the entire left side, is very dark and blurred, with shades of green and purple.
Global warming will cause an exodus from the Atlantic Forest.
An aerial photograph shows a dam built across a large river or lake. In the center, the long concrete and earth structure divides the vast blue-gray reservoir in the background. In the foreground, there is land with vegetation and dry soil, surrounded by green forest, under a clear sky.
The destructive legacy of hydroelectric dams.
In a horizontal panoramic photo, a woman with short, curly dark hair is positioned on the right side of the image. She wears round glasses and a dark blue blouse with a pattern of intersecting white lines. She is standing, with one hand on her hip, looking directly at the camera with a serious expression. In front of her, in the lower right corner, are some books on a surface. The background behind her is a corridor; the left side of the image is very dark and gloomy, while the right side of the corridor is brighter and shows a series of columns or openings.
The family tree that never existed.
The image shows a middle-aged man sitting at a table, talking and gesturing with his hands. He has a gray beard, short gray hair, and wears dark-rimmed glasses. He is dressed in a black t-shirt and a silver watch. In front of him is a notebook or notepad and a pen. The setting appears to be an office, with light-colored walls and cabinets in the background.
On the trail of food waste
This is a black and white photograph of a smiling woman's face, taken from inside a car. She has shoulder-length, wavy hair and is wearing round sunglasses. She is looking at the camera with a wide, cheerful smile. The car's interior, including part of the dashboard and the rearview mirror, is visible in the background. The image has a classic and spontaneous feel.
'One, free and brief': the prose poem in Brazil
Nighttime aerial photograph showing the Unicamp campus from above. The image is dominated by the bright yellow lights of the streets and buildings, which trace the shape of the area against the darkness of the night.
