What explains the paralysis of the UN, WTO and WHO?

The crisis of international organizations was discussed by researcher and collaborating professor Neusa Maria Pereira Bojikian, from the Postgraduate Program of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH).

The crisis in international organizations was the theme of this Analisa program. The World Trade Organization (WTO) has had its appellate body paralyzed since 2019, when the United States blocked the appointment of new judges.

The United Nations (UN) has been criticized for its inefficiency in resolving international conflicts, such as those in Ukraine and Palestine.

The program's interviewee was researcher and collaborating professor Neusa Maria Pereira Bojikian, from the Postgraduate Program at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH).

“The UN has failed to resolve international conflicts. For example, the conflict in Rwanda in the 1990s was a genocide. In 100 days, 800 people were killed in a civil war. The UN has never been able to resolve the issue of Gaza,” Bojikian criticized.
