    The Interdisciplinary Center for Sound Communication (NICS) will be holding events on the following days: March 4, 11, 18 and 25, varied presentations of Artivist Computational Sound Art (Asca).

    The performances, which are free and open to the public, always take place starting at 14 PM in the Amphitheater at Praça da Paz (Peace Square).

    The event is being organized by Professor José Eduardo Fornari Novo Jr.

    Computational Artivist Sound Art (CASA) is a field of research and artistic production that combines sound creation, digital technologies (computing), and social activism. This practice uses sound as a primary tool to question, raise awareness of, and intervene in social, political, or environmental issues, often using generative and interactive means.
