    FEA organizes the 1st Food Engineering Forum at Unicamp. 

    The Faculty of Food Engineering (FEA) organizes, on the day March 10, in person, starting at 8:30 am, at the Convention Center, the 1st Food Engineering Forum at Unicamp.

    Entitled "Food Engineering in the fight against hunger, food waste and climate change, and in the promotion of health," the event will discuss crucial topics such as hunger and food waste, climate change and its impacts on the production chain, the role of food in promoting health, and the importance of food processing in the development of humanity.

    The meeting is being led by Professor Anderson de Souza Sant'Ana, from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at FEA. 

    The speakers include professors José Graziano da Silva, professor emeritus at Unicamp and general director of the Zero Hunger Institute; Arilson da Silva Favareto, from the Josué de Castro Chair (USP)/Federal University of ABC (UFABC); Licio Augusto Velloso, from the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM/Unicamp); and Antônio José de Almeida Meirelles, former rector of Unicamp and professor at FEA.  

    The event is aimed at the academic community and members of public institutions, the private sector, and civil society.
